Urban enviornment

After doing attempting to do lots of drawings of the different ethnic faces in Limerick, I have done some printing which I really enjoyed some came out good but others were disasters. I'm going to try and post a few photos up.  

I am now investigating faces with Felt.  I took a plaster mould  of my own face, using plaster of paris  and one of Helen's today.. thanks Helen... and with those I'm going experiment with felt.  I have already done one but I feel its a bit flimsey so going to try and see how I can present it a bit firmer...

 This is the wool felted.   Dosn't look too good but it actually came out quite nice.. will put up the finished piece later!

 The finished piece.. using black ink, yellow with a tinge of black to tone down the yellow and orange.

I've been experiencing high and lows with the project but at the moment I'm on a bit of a high and excited about what I'm doing.
